Lincoln Park Auto Repair is hands down the best shop I’ve ever been to! They always make me feel completely safe and taken care of. No matter how busy they are, they get me in fast and never make me feel like I’m just another customer. The owner goes above and beyond—he even gives out his personal cell number in case of emergencies, which gives me so much peace of mind. It’s rare to find an auto repair place that is this trustworthy, caring, and reliable. I couldn’t recommend them more highly—10/10!

I've owned cars in Chicago for more than 40 years and been to a bunch of auto repair shops. Lincoln Park is by far the best! They're fair, great problem solvers, easy to talk to and all at a reasonable price. I won't even consider going anywhere else!

I have used Lincoln Park Auto Repair a number of times to fix various issues with my car throughout the past 2 years. They have always provided excellent service. Fixes are performed quickly and effectively. Prices are very reasonable. If you pay in cash or through Zelle they will not charge you a credit card transaction fee so come prepared for a little discount.

I’ve been going to John for about 10 years now, and I honestly wouldn’t trust my car with anyone else. He’s always taken great care of me, explains what’s going on in a way that actually makes sense, and never tries to upsell or pressure me into unnecessary work. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers and takes pride in his work. Reliable, honest, and consistent for a decade (that says everything). Highly recommend John if you’re looking for a mechanic you can truly trust.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. I have had numerous wonderful experiences here. I found this mechanic while reading reviews from another shop in which a customer mentioned she came here after a bad experience at another shop. From the first phone call this mechanic has been incredibly kind and has gone above and beyond to take care of my car which unfortunately is very old and has a lot of problems. They were honest and up front about pricing and continued to give me fair pricing as well as additional help. The mechanic John figured out a very complex and confusing issue with my ABS brake. They were able to take my car in the same day and they repaired it very quickly. I cannot recommend this place enough.

Excellent Service at Lincoln Park Auto Repair! I had a great experience at Lincoln Park Auto Repair today! From start to finish, the team was friendly, professional, and efficient. John and Corey, the mechanics who worked on my car, were fantastic — knowledgeable, honest, and took the time to explain what needed to be done without any pressure. My car is running perfectly now, and I really appreciate the care and attention they put into their work. A big shoutout as well to Marco in the office — he was super helpful on the phone, made scheduling easy, and handled the payment and invoicing process smoothly. He kept me updated the whole time, which made the experience stress-free. I definitely recommend Lincoln Park Auto Repair to anyone looking for trustworthy mechanics and great customer service. I've always had great experiences at this body shop! John, the mechanic, was absolutely fantastic to work with - incredibly knowledgeable, professional, detail-oriented, and def a lifesaver. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure the work was done right and on time with great care and at a very reasonable price. Every time I come here, the whole experience is always **very respectful** and straightforward, with no pressure and very transparent communication. This is now 100% my go-to body shop, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality, trustworthy service.

Service 10/10 I’ve now brought my car in for service twice. Both times in and out flawlessly. John gives you a walk through before service so you both can see what’s being tackled together so there is no confusion. And you’ll walk through again afterwards before you pay. John’s always willing to work with you, wether it’s with pricing, or figuring out what’s the better option between bringing in your own parts or letting him do his thing and locating them on his own.
